Jarvis Brook Recreation Ground – New Skate Bowl – Crowborough (1689/D/TP)

The project will design and build a bespoke skate bowl on the Jarvis Brook recreation ground in Crowborough. This will form part of a complete regeneration and development of the facilities on the recreation ground and bring the site up to date and ensure that the provision is inclusive and will benefit the whole community. The re-development will include new facilities, a MUGA, youth shelter, sensory garden and seating areas. The planned skate bowl will provide an area for the young people to practice bike and skate skills in a facility which has been constructed according to the needs and wishes of the users. The design of the bowl will use the natural landform and landscaping to provide a challenging yet safe environment. The project will use landscaping and planting to enhance the site. The Trust grant will contribute towards the new skate bowl.
