Jet Amber Fields

The project will maintain Jet Amber Fields to encourage the best possible use of the site by the general public. The maintenance plan includes 2 weekly strimming / cutting of a 2m swathe of grass adjacent to footpaths to open them up and give them a ‘looked after’ feel; trimming hedges and overhanging trees; monthly litter picking; removal of fly tipping when reported; regular inspection and repair of fences, steps and gates; improvements to the surfaces of paths. In addition bird / bat boxes will be installed and picnic areas will be created.
