John Fisher Community Centre Roof

Our project is to re-roof our local Community Centre with a bitumen membrane and highly efficient PIR insulation system. It was built over 30 years ago and continues to be well used by a wide variety of people from West Heath, Birmingham. The centre still has its original flat roof and over the years there have been a series of temporary repairs made; unfortunately patching is now ineffective and the roof is in a very poor state. In adverse weather we have leaks in several areas especially the toilets, which has resulted in blackened damaged ceiling patches. This is making the building more and more difficult to use particularly for the elderly who use the Centre regularly. A building survey has been carried out by a professional architect, he has advised that the roof has come to the end of its useful life and the best, most cost effective course of action is a complete replacement. We have arrived at our costs through 3 competitive quotes based on an architectural spec of works.
