Johnston Village Institute refurbishment

Johnston is the biggest village within pembrokeshire comprising of approx 1000 dwellings, which is ever expanding. At present the community facilities within the village are somewhat lacking, and the institute in question is strategically placed to serve existing housing estates and new development plans.
a community appraisal audit revealed that 70% of responses indicated that there was insufficient facilities within johnston.
the project aims to reorganise and refurbish the interior of the village institute. Gaining greater access and usage of the hall ensuring new groups and societies can take advantage of the facilities on offer. This stage of the project aims to allow the Intitute to comply with Health and Saftey Regulations, provide wheelchair access and upgrade the toilet and kitchen facilities.
