Johnstone West Urban Biodiversity

The project aims to provide a local urban biodiversity site in the Johnstone West area of Paisley in line with the Renfrewshire/East renfrewshire/Inverclyde Biodiversity Action Plan Urban Area Action Plan. The Capability Scotlands site at West Lane Gardens will be developed by a group of people with learning difficulties and some physical disabilities (plus other community volunteers) to provide a diverse range of important microhabitats. Bird and bat boxes will be provided. There will also be outreach work to simulate community interest and support for the initiative
