Jubilee Gardens Blackpool (999 Memorial Garden) – Treasured Space

We believe that people everywhere and of every age need places to treasure. Whether its a place to kick a football about, a place to relax, or a place to have fun. Not everyone is getting the benefit of good outside space. some people are missing out and some communities just don’t have any green space to treasure. We are running a campaign to encourage more people to get involved with supporting and improving local treasured spaces. This project will transform the Jubilee Gardens in Blackpool into a vibrant community park. The project is championed by local residents and members of the Gynn Square Memorial Fund who wish to see this neglected green space improved. The project includes improvements to infrastructure such as footpaths, access points and benches as well as replanting the gardens to transform them into a garden that people would wish to visit. It will provide a fitting backdrop to the Blue Light Memoria which celebrates the emergency services.
