Junior Wardens Project

The junior warden projects / planting days will provide an opportunity for up 400 school children to step outside the boundaries of their schools and to actively improve the appearance of their own communities in conjunction with various community groups.
The project has to main aims
Aim 1 – To raise awarness and knowledge of biodiversity issues, specifically mentioning developing programmes with schools to raise environmental issues.
Aim 2 – Planting schemes, the creation of new planting beds containing a mixture of shrubs and bedding flowers, or, the regeneration / revigorating established beds with bedding flowers to inject new life and colour into them.
