Kates Pond, Derbyshire – Pond dipping platforms and science trail (006036)

The project is to improve the access to and understanding of the natural environment by the general public through creating pond dipping platforms and science trail features which are innovative / different because they will allow people to learn complex information through fun whilst on a day out.

The project will provide great opportunities for volunteering which enables the volunteers to learn about conservation and biodiversity.

The project will attract more visitors to Rosliston Forestry Centre, particularly school groups and families.
