Keltneyburn - Calcareous Grassland Improvement Project

The project proposes to vigorously control bracken and blackthorn which are moving into and degrading the meadow. Improving and enhancing the meadow will directly benefit the eight species of orchid which are found on the site, including the greater-butterfly orchid, the fragrant orchid and the rare small-white orchid.
