KGV Community Play and Meet Zone

We have 628 regular sports club users, we hold regular events with an average attendance of 2000 people. We want to offer a paved seated area outside our kitchen, with a small garden area and small pieces of natural play equipment for younger children to occupy them whilst parents relax, meet others and use our cafe. It will improve the lives of or users significantly by offering a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to spend free time. It can be used by all community groups, all ages, it will be accessible to those with disabilities as access is on one level and it can be used by the community (KGV Friends Group) during events.ositive impact would be that the community can be together and outdoors. Young children will be active physically using small play equipment and older and disabled people will have the opportunity to be outdoors, enjoying our open spaces, also benefit from our low prices of snacks and drinks. Parents can also safely supervise children at play, whilst relaxing and socialising.
