Kids Park

Kids’ Park will be a vibrant, intriguing and safe outdoor play area aimed at children under 7, within the new 8 acre Birmingham City Park. Situated directly to the front of Thinktank, Birmingham Science Musuem, it will be an area where children and their families play with science themed interactive exhibits. The 14 interactives will be specifically designed to encourage childen and their families to explore science whilst having fun playing outdoors. The fun exhibits will encourage children to learn about sound, light, touch and movement. Kids’ Park will provide a much needed good quality play area for the thousands of families living locally, as well as for the millions of families who visit Birmingham every year. Kids Park aims to encourage children to think about science from a young age, and encourage families to visit Thinktank and take part in further science and heritage activities.
