Kiln Lane Nature Reserve

This project is to turn an old claypit, which currently consists of ponds and dense undergrowth, into a nature reserve with public access. We will build a permissive path across adjoining land that will, it is hoped in the future, connect to an existing public path, creating a circular walk. Work to clear the area of rubbish has already been done so that the work to create the path and create a wildlife haven can start. Much of the work will be undertaken by volunteers under the guidance of experts.
