King George V Park Development Project

The Benarty Community Forum Group aims to upgrade the King George V Park in Crosshill with the first phase of this development being the upgrading of the children’s play facilities and equipment and associated landscaping. The aims and objectives of the project will be as follows:-
* Increase number of children’s play and recreational facilities in Benarty area.
* Increase usage of King George V Park.
* Increase number of local people, including children and young people in community planning and decision making using a range of consultation methods.
* Improve accessibility for King George V Park.
* Increase number of visitors to the area.
* Increase activate citizenship in Benarty.
* Increase local people’s satisfaction and identity in Benarty area.
