King George V PLaying Fields

Refurbish an existing play area within King George V Park, Penwortham. The playground is very run-down & contains only 3 pieces of equipment, all of which are in poor condition & much of the park is under-utilised. The play area is in close proximity to 2 primary schools & a local nursery. It is located in an area with a higher proportion of young people than the average for South Ribble.

The project will incorporate consultation with young people and key stakeholders and will utilise designs selected during workshops with local children.
