Kingsbury's Community Wetland

Our project aims to create new, biodiversity-rich wetland habitats at the site, focussing on Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) Priority habitats and species. We will create scrapes, pools, ditches, wet grassland (fen & swamp) and reedbeds on the 6 hectare area of improved grassland (old football pitches). We will create a 1 hectare area of reedbed within the northern corner of Hemlingford Water.
