Kingshill Biodiversity Enhancements

The site at Kingshill was a former coal mine that was abandoned in 1975. Since then, a number of locally and nationally rare species have settled and this project involves a strategy to protect existing species, remove invasive species, carry out woodland management works, manage the path networks and introduce some signage and interpretation in order to highlight the history of the site.
