Kingstanding St John’s Centre – Refurbishment of cafe

The funding is to provide for redecoration and minor repairs in the building which the applicants use as one of their main centres. These improvements will make the building fit for purpose and provide a welcome environment for the many users. The building is very tired and users have commented on this fact. The applicants believe that the local residents would benefit from coming into a bright and welcoming space. This would support the work that they do and make it more productive. Locals would feel more affirmed by having a community centre that was not a bit run down.
