Kirkby Stephen Swimming Pool Refurbishment

This project aims to extend the community access and participation through primary school use and extended opening hours including adult swim lessons. They will also offer low cost membership that is open to all and to meet the aims of Every Child Matters. This project will also provide a safe environment in which to swim (or learn to swim), promote a healthy lifestyle and improve the quality of life for the people of the area by providing the rurally isolated population with an accessible public facility. The group intend to: Take off old and re-render all walls Take up and re-concrete floor Re-do all paintwork Rubbish disposal
