Kirkheaton – Improvement of infrastructure of Public Right of Way

Improve the infrastructure around greenways in Kirkheaton. This project will focus on a particular part of the village and repair dry stone walls and a stile to improve the infrastructure.

The project will provide safe access and use of greenways which will promote the health and well-being of local people. It will provide safer access to the environment which will impact on all ages. Through the volunteers being involved with restoration of dry stone walls for example, community participation will increase as will the skills of those involved. The work will also improve and enhance the appearance of the area.
