Kitchen and Servery Development

The project is to create a serving hatch between the kitchen and main hall and fit with a fire shutter linked to our fire alarm system. We would also need to replace the kitchen units, update the ageing gas cooker with an all electric cooker and install a dishwasher.

We would redecorate the kitchen and around the hatch in the hall, this will be done with our older scouts and will be funded by the group.

We would purchase replacement kitchen units and worktops, a new all electric cooker as a safer alternative to gas, and install a dishwasher for the benefit of those hiring the hall.

Any undamaged re-usable current kitchen units will be re-used in our general store, the rest where possible will be disassembled and used for other craft projects or taken for recycling.
