Kitchen Extension & Refurbishment

The main aim of this project is to improve the kitchen facilities to meet the present day needs and therefore make the hall more sustainable long term. The main outcome will be increased income from large scale functions and our plans for a community café, plus new activities for local groups, such as offering lunches to older isolated people and refreshments at our farmers market. The community will benefit from utilising the improved facilities for weddings and other celebrations, concerts, community café, luncheon club, funeral teas, etc which will strengthen community cohesion. The community café will also be utilised by passing cyclists who often use our area for races, club runs and will use our facilities as the start/finish point.
