Kitchen Refurbishment and Appliances

The Community hub kitchen will be given an upgrade. Funds will be used to upgrade the kitchen equipment with energy-efficient appliances, better food storage facilities and cooking utensils. This will help provide healthy food for the community and will support cooking classes, nutrition workshops, and food literacy programs. Additionally, they will collaborate with local farmers to source fresh, sustainable ingredients. This grant will upgrade the services they currently offer, and help to deliver additional services to better support the community. By providing a well-equipped community kitchen, they strive to promote healthy eating, encourage and facilitate efforts in tackling food insecurity and fostering social cohesion within our community.
