Kitchen Refurbishment, Collingwood Centre, Great Barr, Birmingham

This is a project to refurbish the kitchen at the Collingwood Centre, an independent community centre with charitable status. The Centre provides a range of services for the community, as well as providing premises for a large number of community groups including: Youth Club, Special Needs Group, Widow/Widowers Group, Parent and Toddler, Tea Dances, New Mums Support Group, Local Healthwatch Group, Bible Class, Slimming Group. The facilities are also available for private hire.The kitchen is used to run a coffee bar at events such as Under 16’s Disco, fundraising events, Car Boot sales, Healthy and Fun Information days, Stamp Fairs, Karate Gradings, Concerts and Pantomimes and Blood Donor Days.
