Knuzden’s need for play

The project is to provide a 20m x 30m multi-use games area created using steel rebound panels and a tarmac playing surface and designed for a variety of ball sports such as football, cricket and basketball.

In addition a new children’s play area is to be created in an area of 20 x 20m using children’s play equipment chosen locally through public consultation including a basket swing, trampoline, swings, a slide and a climbing net. This will be surrounded by a 1m high fence and the surface will be a mixture of tarmac and safety surface.
