L E A P S covered Play Area and Amphitheatre

This exciting community project aims to develop the grounds of a small rural school for the benefit of the children and the wider community. We plan to build a covered play-area with a small amphitheatre, to provide a multi-functional learning, meeting and play space, which will be situated at the top of the playing field. The building will be available to the wider community outside school hours at no cost. A Village Appraisal in 2003 identified the need for play facilities (adventure play trail installed by LEAPS in Sept 2005) and the village’s dependence upon the school as a meeting place, there being no village hall.
