Ladybower Wood Nature Reserve, Derbyshire – Interpretation

Ladybower Wood SSSI Nature Reserve is a gem of a reserve in the Peak District, lying on a steep valley side overlooking the reservoir of the same name. We would like to reveal its natural beauty to visitors, being one of the last important examples of upland oak woodland in the County. We would like to, (1) replace the interpretation panel – to reveal the reserve to walkers, (2) install several wildlife discovery waymarkers – to excite families to go exploring and, (3) repair badly eroding sections of the public bridleway by stone pitching.
