Lambeth Floating Marsh

Creation of a floating reed bed to model the 'greening' of the Thames riverbank and provide a sheltered habitat for river organisms. It will be situated alongside a barge on the site of the historical Lambeth Marsh and act as a static observatory and educational resource for the wider public. Organisms remaining in an artificial ‘rock pool’ in the reed bed as the tide recedes will be monitored and their images projected onto the side of the barge, which will be viewable from across the river.
