Towards replacing the existing hall roof

The current roof has been in place since 1989, when the village hall was built. Due to the terrible weather conditions over the past two years, the condition of the roof has deteriorated considerably causing a leaks in numerous places in the hall, which is having an economic impact on its funds as the number of events able to run has reduced. The halls insurance will cover repair costs to the damaged areas, however, the committee agreed that, as the roof was coming to the ‘end of its life’ the best option is to replace the whole area now.
