Lambourne End Centre, Essex – Climbing Wall Improvements (005608)

The project will enhance and improve the climbing wall. Due to being an outdoor structure as well as its weekly usage, the climbing wall is no longer fit for purpose.

This work will secure the life of the wall, enabling thousands of people to continue to build their confidence, raise their self-esteem and realise their potential.

Work will include the surveys and materials to install a waterproof and high friction surface to each of the four faces of the wall, add new climbing holds and create new climbing routes. The work will also involve preparing the structure to be compliant with new regulations in order that a zip line can be installed from the top of the wall.This work will secure the life of the wall and will create new opportunities for the community to enjoy zip lining.
