Lammas Recreation Ground

Lammas Recreation Ground is at the Southern end of the Colne Valley Regional Park and provides a “Bridge” to the wider countryside. We would like to install a “talking post” which is an interpretation facility which will enable recorded information to be played to the listener. It is environmentally friendly as it is foot pedalled powered. The information played will be about the Colne Valley Regional Park which is 40 square miles and contains a mosaic of farmland woodland and water with 200 miles of river and canal and over 70 lakes. The post will provide an innovative way of enticing people to explore further than the playground.
