Landmatters Permaculture Project

The project aims to establish a shelterbelt of 1,100 trees that will be coppiced and managed to provide a woodland habitat for wildlife on a 42 acre site near Totnes Devon that is owned by a Co-operative. The Co-operative seeks to involve volunteers on workdays and event days and to educate the wider public about the benefits of permaculture as a sustainable means of food production.
