LANE Lislagan Accessing Natural Environment

We want to utilise a currently unused, inaccessible green space and create an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area for the local community to use. This will involve the building of decking, ramps, patio, seating and kitchen to provide an accessible opportunity to enjoy the local natural environment. The site will provide access to green therapy and opportunities which enable the community to grow their own and then process the products grown in the kitchen, thus educating the community on sustainable food source such as farm to fork. The project will also provide access to an orchard and beehives which again will produce materials which the community can utilise and develop such as apple juice and honey.
