LANGAR, St Andrew’s Church : Conservation of Chaworth Monuments

To conserve clean and make safe for public access two monuments in the North Transept of Langar Church. These are 16th century monuments which are suffering from long term deterioration some of which can be halted by the conservation process (eg by replacing rusted fixings with stainless steel). The ultimate aim (not covered by this application) is to create a village heritage resource in this area of the Church.
