Langford Lowfields, An Inspirational Reedbed Paradise

The creation of 6.9 ha of reedbed to be achieved by engineering works in a silt lagoon. This will include provision of crossing points, culverts and sluices to enable future management. Public access will be provided by creating two circular walks, taking people close to reedbeds, wetland wildlife and giving inspirational panoramic views. Our aim is to create the largest reedbed in the East Midlands.
