Lanner Garden of Reflection

The objective is to create a pleasant and peaceful area where visitors to graves in both the original churchyard and the new cemetery can spend time ‘ reflecting’ on times they shared with their loved ones and particularly for those recently bereaved, find some comfort. The garden will be located in the new Lawn Cemetery and users will enjoy a peaceful sheltered environment and a view across the valley to Carn Marth and Pennance Consols Engine house. The garden design and construction will be carried out as a project for students at Duchy College in close liaison with the Parish Council
