Latton Spine Road Bridge

Construction of a road bridge incorporating dedicated cycle paths on the A419 at Latton Wiltshire, to allow two sections of the Thames and Severn Canal to be re-joined. The project will be an integral part of the overall restoration of the canal and will open up the towpath for social and educational purposes, and provide enhanced crossing facilities for cyclists and Walkers. CONDITION:- Landfill tax money to be used exclusively toward the proportion of the bridge to be used for cycles and foot passengers. No landfill tax money to be used toward the construction of the public roadway.
