Lauderdale Transformed

To replace the chipboard floor with reclaimed oakbaords and to install soundproofing between the Long Gallery and the Lower Gallery so that both rooms can be used for activities simultaneously. The temporary nature of the floor in the Long Gallery means that the sound tranmission between the two floors is not good. This restricts how we use the Long Gallery and the amount of people who can use this part of the building. With the reclaimed oak floor and soundproofing we will be able to use the Long Gallery more, increasing income generation and ensuring future sustainability
