Laughton Greenwood, East Sussex – Community facilities (007108)

The woods are beautiful but have been sorely neglected until recently, and there is currently limited footpath access and basic facilities. Paths and trails have been developed in the past year, one compost toilet and local demand and potential to welcome more vulnerable groups is increasing. In these times people are increasingly needing to be outdoors for their mental well-being. This project will offer comfortable facilities and shelters during inclement weather in order to offer regular, throughout the year, nature experiences for general public, schools and other groups.
