Laurel Avenue – Playground Refurbishment

Our aims are to refurbish the local playground, returning it to a standard that encourages and promotes outdoor play activity in a safe and pleasant environment where at present none exists. We would like to make a playground suitable for the younger children aged 0 to 8, thereby increasing the use of the playground by children and their families, increasing the amount of outdoor play to help develop stronger bones and healthier muscles and increasing social interaction across all generations, building a stronger community spirit.
