Lawns Park, Romford – Playground Refurbishment (008058)

This project will focus on a full playground refurbishment and improvement of the outdoor gym, bringing the dated playground and gym into the modern world with new equipment, wet-pour, decorations and activity boards; whilst ensuring the character of the park is maintained and the surrounding biodiversity is improved. The new equipment due to be installed will complement the park’s layout and will contain an increased number of accessible equipment for visitors with mobility issues. A full renovation is needed to reignite visitor engagement and satisfaction with the playground and outdoor gym as well as to bring this play area in line with other play facilities in the borough.
