Layham Village Hall, Ipswich – Renovation

This project is to refurbish current toilet, including improved disabled and children accessible toilets. Install heating and insulation to floor walls and roof. Create an inviting lobby with public noticeboard, secure front door, outdoor lighting. The toilets and entrance are all at the front of the hall, so all the work requires to be carried out at the same time. Improvements will make the building more inclusive to the wider community. Current users will have safer and easier to use facilities – especially the elderly, disabled and under 5 year old. New users will be attracted who are currently put off by poor, cold toilets.
