Lazonby Swimming Pool Heat Pump

The aim of the project is to ensure the survival of the community resource by replacing the failing pool heating system with modern, renewables technology, ideally continuing to use the nearby river as a heat source. The Swimming Pool Association regularly promotes the use of renewables, citing its heat pump and thermal energy sources in publicity and has twice featured in Cumbria Green Build fortnight. The project should reduce electricity consumption through the use of a more efficient system.
