Lea Road Community Church, Wolverhampton - Roof Repairs

This project is to effect necessary and urgent repairs to the roof of Lea Road Community Church Building which is leaking in several places. This has resulted in water ingress into the building, causing obvious difficulties for all who use the place. Lea Road Community Church is not a traditional church building- it was built in partnership with the local council as a Community Centre with one room set aside for Christian worship. The structure comprises a sports hall; a workshop with carpentry benches; a kitchen; café space; various sized meeting rooms; office; toilet facilities including accessible toilets. Outside there is a patio; garden and car park. This project will provide a sound waterproof building in which local community groups can engage in various activities.
