Leegomery Methodist Church, Telford – Community Improvements (4859/D)

The project aims to replace existing concrete outside the building and improve each access for the disabled constructing all necessary ramps with fittings. Replace side entrance doors with PVC and making them easier accessible to all. Insert gully drainage. Remove all existing fixtures in the Church interior, remove the floor, inject damp course, replace any necessary joist, insert insulation between joist, lay a new floor, making the Church open plan and multipurpose. Rewire, replace existing gas heaters with energy efficient electric ones, fit smoke alarms, emergency lighting, additional sockets, projector & screen. Replace existing windows with similar style, but doubled glazed. Replace front doors with similar in Oak. Interior doors to be refurbished and refitted, plaster, paint, stain wood floor etc to finish. The Trust grant will be a contribution towards these improvements.
