To regenerate an existing derelict play area and surrounding area to enable local children to play safely on the site. The improvements will contribute to the reduction of anti-social behaviour as they will include improvements to an adjacent neglected area including improved lighting and opening up the area. In addition there will be access improvements in line with the DDA to ensure inclusive usage of the site.
Works will include clearance, improvements to security fencing and gates, installation of a handrail to improve access to people with mobility issues. Finally we will lay a wetpour safety surface and install new play equipment, which will include a bill box multiplay equipment, a rotoweb play net, a yoyo swing (capacity up to 5 children), a cyclo springer and a quatro springer.
