Leesbrook Habitats

The project is to restore an old hedgerow and improve a wetland. Currently the hedge is in poor condition being very gappy with various pieces of fencing, metal, walling etc strewn along it’s 140 metre length. It needs to be tidied, re – fenced, and re- planted so providing an important habitat and landscape feature.
The proposed pond area is currently a wet area overgrown with willlow and on occasionsattracts large amount of litter. This part of the Nature Park has no ponds at present and creation of one here would complete a network of wetlands throughout the site.
