Leesbrook Nature Reserve

Leesbrook Nature Reserve, a strategically important site within the Medlock Valley in eastern Greater Manchester, requires considerable investment to make it an attractive asset for the local community and biodiversity. The project will aim to: manage existing woodland plantations for increased biodiversity and security, develop existing path network for better access and safety of whole community, enhance entranceways to encourage site use, install interpretation and waymarking to guide and inform users, engage the local community in developing the project through site design, on-site events, school visits and ongoing site management
