Leicestershire County Scouts Headquarters Refurbishment stage 1

Leicestershire Scouts have been in possession of the County Centre for 11 years and in that time, the usage of the Centre has increased beyond levels first thought of when the Centre was first purchased. The Centre is now at an age where serious consideration needs to be sought for the upgrade of the heating and water systems initally (stage 1), and the main fabric / structure of building, which has not been checked since original purchase of the property, as (stage 2). The main structure of the building is still the original, with fittings and fixtures again from when the property was first purchased. It is proposed to seek funding for (stage 1) from landfill sites and from organisations that are prepared to support a more energy efficient system than currently exists.
