Lelant Saltings Facility Development

A new Changing Pavilion at Lelant Saltings is to be built with the aim of providing bespoke facilities for St Ives Town Football Club and for local youth organisations and local schools. The existing timber building has been on site for over 20 years and a recent of survey of the building by ‘Douglas Cawley Surveyors’ have found them to be totally inadequate and are in danger of contravening Health and Safety standards. Within the new building there will be a kitchen serving drinks and food for spectators and participants which will improve the Football Clubs financial stability and will also go towards a Sinking Fund for repairs and maintenance of the new facility. The brick and slate Pavilion itself will comprise of:- 2 large changing rooms, showers, officials changing rooms, a kitchen and a Groundsmans storage area.
