Lewes Skatepark

LTCS funding will be used to develop an open access skate-park and youth shelter for the young people of Lewes. The park will offer a range of equipment catering for younger/beginner skate boarders and older/more skilled users. The location of the park will not only cater to Lewes residents, but also to young people from the outlying villages such as Beddingham, Ringmer and Kingston. The aim is to provide a well designed and well used community facility that meets the needs of the people of Lewes. Funding is sought to develop a street course skateboard park, youth shelter and subsequent landscaping for the area.
